This is a two day course that begins at 7:00AM until 3:00PM each day.

Staying healthy and safe while working on inspection, cleaning, and restoration projects is a technicians primary and most important task! This IICRC HST CEC course will review occupational health and safety procedures and practices with real-life, on-the-job scenarios that cleaning and restoration technicians face every day!

HST instructors will use simple explanations and fun learning lessons, exercises, and review to provide the education needed to understand workplace health and safety.

This class will include topics such as:

• Intro to occupational safety
• Workplace hazards assessment
• Personal protective equipment
• Engineering controls & safety equipment
• Airborne hazards (smoke, mold, microbes)
• Chemical hazards
• Biological hazards & bloodborne pathogens
• Emergency preparedness
• Electrical safety
