Course Cancellations and More

1

Cancellations, Re-Seat, Seat Transfer, and No-Show Policy

All registrations for a course seat are final and non-refundable. Due to IICRC, RIA, and ACAC administration and certification policy, and the commitments we've incurred with the instructor, there are no exceptions (exclusive of the Restoration Certified Course Cancelled Policy).

If a student has purchased a seat in a course and is unable to attend the course, wishes to be re-seated in the same course title but on a different date, or wishes to transfer their seat to another person within the same organization, the student must notify Restoration Certified within seven (7) business days before course start date by emailing Info@RestorationCertified.com or calling the main office at the number listed on our website www.RestorationCertified.com.

⚠️

The Restoration Certified "Certified. Guaranteed." Policy is voided on all Cancellations, Re-Seat, Seat-Transfer, and No-Show policies.

Seat Transfer Policy

If within 7 business days or more of the registered course a student is unable to attend the original registered seat, the student can transfer the purchased seat to another person within the same organization at no additional cost by contacting Info@RestorationCertified.com or by calling the main office at the number listed on our website.

⚠️

If the Seat Transfer student is unable to attend the course or is a "no-show" on the course start date, registration payment is forfeit.

Re-Seat Policy

If within 7 business days or more of the registered course a student is unable to attend the original registered seat, the student can reschedule a seat in the same course title to a future date within 60-days of original course start date for an additional $50.00 fee.

A student may utilize the Re-Seat Policy only one time.

⚠️

If the student is unable to attend the re-seated course or is a "no-show" on the course start date, registration payment is forfeit.

No-Show Policy

If a student fails to attend the registered seat in a scheduled course within 60-minutes of course start time, he/she is considered a "No-Show" and will not be able to enact the Seat Transfer or Re-Seat policies. Registration payment is forfeit.

⚠️

Due to IICRC, RIA, and ACAC administration and certification policy, and the commitments we've incurred with the instructor, there are no exceptions to the No-Show policy.

Restoration Certified Course Cancelled Policy

At Restoration Certified we strive to make the best effort to never cancel a course, but in rare instances a course cancellation cannot be avoided. Instructor emergencies, internet provider issues, closures due to severe weather or governmental advisories are several examples of a reason for a course cancellation.

If Restoration Certified must cancel a course we will make every effort to inform the registered student as early as possible via email and a phone call.

Tardiness, Off-Screen, and Early Departure Policy

In order to qualify for a certification exam, the certifying entity's policy (IICRC, RIA, ACAC, OSHA) regarding tardiness, screen sharing, and early departure requirements must be strictly adhered to.

⚠️

Restoration Certified has no control or oversight regarding a certifying entity's policy and their decision to deny a certification exam to a student who does not adhere to their specific policies.

Certifying entities will often have monitors enter a class to view student behavior and verify that their specific policies are being adhered to.

⚠️

Any student that cannot complete the certification exam due to policy infractions is not eligible for the Seat Transfer or Re-Seat Policies, and registration payment is forfeit.

4

Disruptive Behavior "Zero-Tolerance" Policy

Any student that displays inappropriate, disrespectful, disruptive, or abusive behavior towards any student, monitor, or instructor will be given a verbal warning and/or a written warning via email, and/or a written warning via meeting private chat or message function.

⚠️

If the offensive behavior is repeated the student will be removed from the course permanently. The student will not be eligible for Seat Transfer or Re-Seat Policies, and registration payment is forfeit.

5

Learning Disability Accommodations

At Restoration Certified our instructors care about our students - we want them to have a successful learning experience and can accommodate most learning disabilities.

Students are encouraged to call and inquire about any course support tools available for visual, language, writing, comprehension, or cognitive disabilities prior to purchasing a course.
