The IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) course provides foundational training in professional water damage restoration based on the principles outlined in the IICRC S500 Standard for Professional Water Damage Restoration. This course covers water damage evaluation, categories and classes of water loss, drying principles, safety considerations, and accepted industry practices used in restoration projects.

The WRT course is designed for water restoration technicians, supervisors, project managers, estimators, and restoration business owners. It is also well-suited for individuals entering the cleaning and restoration industry who need a strong foundation in water damage restoration standards and procedures.

For the online WRT course, the IICRC requires the exam to be taken within 45 days after course completion.
