This is a 2 day course that begins at 7:00 and ends at 3:00 each day.
Environments that have sustained damages from blood, body fluids, other potentially infectious materials, or potentially pathogenic microorganisms require technicians that have been trained in specialized remediation processes. The IICRC TCST Trauma and Crime Scene Cleaning Technician certification course will prepare students working on crime and accident scenes contaminated with bloodborne pathogens and infectious disease.
TCST instructors will use simple explanations and fun learning lessons, exercises, and review to provide the education needed to understand the proper procedures of trauma and crime scene cleaning…and pass the IICRC TCST exam!
This class will include topics such as:
- Health & safety protocols
- Hazard assessment
- PPE &engineering controls
- Site inspection & assessment
- Technician & project preparation
- The proper use of containment & air filtration devices
- Cleaning chemicals & antimicrobials
- Tools & equipment
- Proper cleaning & deodorization practices
- Client communications
The RC guarantee – pass the exam or take a TCST class for free! This class structure will include all the necessary study guides, workbooks, exam preparation tools and reviews so you feel confident to take the IICRC TCST certification exam and pass…the first time!
The IICRC certification exam is an optional exam offered by IICRC. This class will prepare students to challenge the IICRC TCST certification exam. To register for the IICRC TCST exam you must visit www.IICRC.org and create an account. The TCST certification exam fee is $80.00.
